Five Daily Market Recap sessions and three Rank reads. MU carried the most option premium every day, $1.6B to $3.5B. This is a weekly readout of Daily Market Recap and Rank structure for September 28 – October 2, 2026. It is not a trade.

The week had two threads. MU carried the most single-name option premium in all five sessions. SPX index GEX stayed Negative for four sessions, deepened to −$37.95B on Thursday, then printed +$19.74B on Friday, with every index row Positive. SPY finished the week $1.80 under the prior Friday's close.

The five MU readings add up to $11.0B, about 14% of the week's single-name tape. Premium peaked Thursday at $3.5B. Average IV on traded MU contracts rose to 105% on Wednesday and was 72% the next day. The net bias tag went Bearish, Bearish, Bullish, Bullish, Bearish. Several sessions printed MU $0.1B lower in the bottom line and glance than in the leaders table; the table above uses the leaders figure, and each daily edition quotes both.

Net GEX in $B, from each session's Daily Market Recap (T+1 snapshot). The prior Friday, September 25, had SPX at +$80.06B. NDX was the only index Positive in all five sessions. Friday's table is the first all-Positive index table in this digest's daily editions. The October 1 column is the settled snapshot; an early run printed different values, as that edition's revision note records. These are five snapshots, not a measured path between them, and Negative or Positive GEX is modeled structure, not observed dealer inventory.

Thursday and Friday on Rank

Thursday's 0DTE books were Negative and both closes sat on the T+1 top: SPY 764.00 on the $764 put wall / 0DTE top, which held 74.4% of the 0DTE book's selected-range gross, and SPXW 7,666.40, 1.40 over the 7,665 top. The October 1 edition has the annotated shots.

Friday's books were Positive, and both closes sat just under the top strike.

Test app, session 2026-10-02, horizon Today · 0DTE. Positive gamma, 0DTE 21.6% of all-expiry gross. Top $770 (33.4%), put wall $769, flip $767.33, close 769.60. Captured October 3, 2026.

Annotated Rank Gamma Exposure for SPXW 0DTE on October 2, 2026, with the close between the 7,720 put wall and 7,725 0DTE top

Same session, SPXW, horizon Today · 0DTE. Positive gamma, 0DTE 28.2% of all-expiry gross. Top 7,725 (59.0%), put wall 7,720, flip 7,719.04, close 7,722.70. Captured in the test app on October 3, 2026.

Same strikes, different regime: Thursday's close sat on a top inside a Negative book; Friday's sat just under a top inside a Positive book. That is the same shape as September 9 and September 25 respectively. It describes two sessions against T+1 structure; it is not a pin forecast.

What the week cannot show

  • Monday and Tuesday on Rank. The Symbols GEX page returns no research data for September 28 and 29, so there is no wall reading for those sessions.
  • Wednesday's same-day map. September 30's structure was built at 5:29 AM ET on October 1, after that session's expiries, so Today · 0DTE reads 0.0%. Only the all-expiration book is available.
  • Some daily bars. Rank's September 28 and 29 bars repeat the same open, high, and low on both SPY and SPXW, and the October 2 SPXW bar's range is far narrower than SPY's. This week quotes closes for those bars and full OHLC only where SPY and SPXW agree.
  • One-word movers. The recap's Step 7 key result can name the top gainer on one run and the top loser on another; the daily editions quote the bottom-line mover and say which run.
