How we ship updates

These notes are user-facing summaries. Some changes may roll out gradually across accounts.

  1. Aug 11, 2026
    Platform

Mid August 2026: Historical sessions in Rank

Paid Rank users can reopen retained trading sessions and keep Contracts and Symbols anchored to the same exact date, while Latest remains the default.

    New (1)

    • Rank session history: choose a retained trading date, move between Contracts and Symbols without losing that exact session, and return to Latest in one step.

    Improved (2)

    • Session availability now reflects dates retained by both Rank data sources, so the selector only offers dates both views can load.
    • Historical sessions stay settled without automatic refresh; live updates remain tied to the latest session during market hours.

    Fixed (1)

    • If a requested session is unavailable, Rank keeps the requested date visible and offers Retry or Go to Latest instead of silently showing a different day.
  2. Aug 8, 2026
    Symbol-level analysis

Early August 2026: Realized volatility in Rank

Rank Symbols now places forward-looking IV30 beside trailing realized volatility, while Vol Surface more clearly separates its provider metric from the governed IV30 and RV20 comparison.

    New (2)

    • Rank Symbols: compare forward-looking IV30 with trailing RV20 and RV30, including an IV30−RV20 spread that is descriptive context—not a mispricing or trading signal.
    • Vol preset: focus the Symbols workbench on IV30, RV20, RV30, IV Rank, IV Percentile, skew, term slope, and butterfly, sorted by IV30−RV20.

    Improved (1)

    • Vol Surface: the separate provider field is now labeled Vendor HV with its unspecified window disclosed, and the report points to Rank Symbols for the governed IV30 and RV20 comparison.

    Fixed (1)

    • Vol Surface: when spot data is missing, it now stays unavailable instead of appearing as a false $0.00.

    Platform

Late July 2026: Home, Rank context, and steadier access

TradingFlow now starts from a clearer Home hub, Rank gives paid users an easier way to read flow around key levels, and access, previews, and AI credit visibility feel steadier while the app checks account status.

    New (3)

    • Home hub: TradingFlow now opens from a clearer starting point with a capability library, recommended research builds, Current Build, and consistent product art for real destinations.
    • Rank Flow: paid users can load exact-strike, same-session flow beside selected-scope Call and Put GEX Walls in Contracts or Symbols, then switch between All, 0DTE, Weekly, and Monthly.
    • Billing: AI users can review an AI Credits card and Usage History with date, credits used, and source for completed assistant turns.

    Improved (4)

    • Starting point: opening TradingFlow now lands on Home more reliably, while sign-in, billing, and paywall flows return users to the work they started from when it is safe.
    • Rank GEX: Symbols table GEX Environment badges now reflect the latest available session context and open the Gamma Exposure view directly.
    • Mapped-wall evidence: Flow-aligned, Flow-against, and Mixed flow show the applied Net DEX and premium rule with matched contracts, prints, OI coverage, and separate session timestamps.
    • Option Trades: first loads can show the standard public preview while the app checks account status, then move paid users into their account view when it is ready.

    Fixed (3)

    • Access states: account checks now show Verifying access or Access status unavailable instead of showing upgrade prompts too early.
    • Option Trades: the public preview no longer carries over paid-only filters or pagination while account status is still being checked.
    • Billing returns: checkout and account-portal flows return users to the intended app page more consistently.

Late July 2026: AI market data, Rank market structure, and calmer Updates

TradingFlow AI can answer more market-data questions directly, Rank Symbols now reads from the canonical market-structure snapshot, and Product Updates plus feedback behave more calmly after sign-in.

    New (3)

    • TradingFlow AI: paid users can ask for live stock quotes, company profile context, and recent dividends without connecting a separate market-data account.
    • Rank Symbols: the symbol leaderboard now reads the canonical full-chain market-structure snapshot, aligning the table, GEX Environment badge, and symbol drawer around the same source.
    • Cookbooks: signed-in readers can open the official Vol Surface template for a live volatility map with term structure, skew, and surface context.

    Improved (3)

    • Rank Gamma Exposure: price charts now keep selected-session GEX levels anchored while adding multi-session price context.
    • Product Updates: unread Featurebase updates can open once after login, then stay quiet for the same login session across route changes and reloads.
    • TradingFlow AI: longer multi-step questions have more room to complete before the assistant returns an answer.

    Fixed (2)

    • Rank Symbols: the public default preview no longer depends on paid-session credentials before it can load.
    • Product feedback: the Featurebase feedback page recovers from slow embeds with visible loading, readiness, and refresh states instead of a blank page.

    Platform

Mid July 2026: Product Updates, saved Rank views, and steadier previews

Product Updates now live in Featurebase, Rank can save complete paid workbench views and load previews more reliably, and public Option Trades previews stay stable while identity resolves.

    New (2)

    • Product Updates: signed-in users now open Featurebase Updates from the footer, with unread state and non-blocking cards handled by Featurebase.
    • Rank saved views: paid users can save filters, scope, columns, and sorting across Contracts and Symbols, with an explicit default and in-use view.

    Improved (3)

    • Rank Symbols: compact sector icons, direct Gamma Exposure and Volatility inspect shortcuts, and all-visible default columns make dense screens easier to scan.
    • Rank previews: columnar snapshots and fallback paths make public and paid Rank loading faster without changing entitlement behavior.
    • Product feedback: the avatar menu opens /user/product-feedback with Featurebase identity, loading, and recovery states instead of a separate footer portal.

    Fixed (2)

    • Option Trades: the public guest preview is no longer cleared by initial auth resolution.
    • Rank: saved-view rename and inspect-column edge cases are steadier, and retained snapshot fallback keeps ranked rows visible when metadata paths miss.
