Trace how open interest built across sessions.
See whether OI actually built after loud prints, instead of trusting a one-session sweep.
The report UI is recreated from the test app's Sep 25, 2026 session, not a live screen. A historical example with music; no narration.

- 01Contract sessions
- 02Volume then next OI
- 03Persistence ledger
Later OI is evidence, not trader identity.
Read the output
- 01Near-dated calls whose open interest accumulated from a low base across sessions.
- 02A Historical Volume / OI ledger per contract (volume followed by OI change).
Keep in mind
OI chronology is not opening vs closing proof, ownership, or private information.
How to read it
From report to evidence01
Run the accumulation recipe
Open Pre-Move Positioning — OI Accumulation in Cookbooks.
02
Read volume then OI change
A print that does not show up as OI the next session is a different story from a contract that kept building.
03
Do not upgrade the chronology
Treat the ledger as descriptive. Motive, identity, and “will it run” are outside the recipe.
Method and limitations
A paid Cookbook of near-dated calls whose open interest accumulated from a low base, traced contract by contract. The pattern is descriptive. It does not name a trader or prove a future move. Official app template: Pre-Move Positioning — OI Accumulation.
What the report computes
- Near-dated calls whose open interest accumulated from a low base across sessions.
- A Historical Volume / OI ledger per contract (volume followed by OI change).
What it does not claim
- OI chronology is not opening vs closing proof, ownership, or private information.
- It does not identify a whale or forecast the next move.
- It is T+1 confirmation of positioning, not a live 0DTE inventory.
The recipe is the T+1 confirmation technique itself: OptionContract.oiChange crossed with tape history, labeled as descriptive accumulation rather than intent.
Frequently asked questions
- Does rising OI mean someone is still long?
- No. Open interest is a count of open contracts, not a named book. The recipe traces chronology. It does not prove who holds the risk.
- Can I use this as a lottery scanner?
- It lists contracts with OI build from a low base. That is not a cheap-OTM lottery product and it does not claim those contracts will pay.
