September 2 Findings: The Bounce Sat on 765 / 7670
Public posters named 7600 below and 7675–7700 above, plus DELL, PLTR, and NVDA call prints. Rank Symbols on the completed September 2 session shows SPY closing on the $765 put wall and SPX tagging 7681, then sitting on the 0DTE top at 7670.
On September 2, 2026, several independent options posters published the same kind of claim: SPX had a floor near 7600, a hurdle near 7675–7680, and a wall near 7700, and a handful of named single-name calls were the tape to check. This article treats those posts as seeds, then fills what Rank Symbols can show on the completed September 2 session in the test environment.
It does not copy the trades.
SPY 765 was the MVC at the open, and it held. SPX 7675 is the positive-exposure wall that can chop lunch.
That is the shape of Andrew Hiesinger's afternoon recap, next to his morning 7675 note. realjc had 7655–50 as support and 7680 as the long-call hurdle. Gamma Lab Girl had the 0DTE flip at 7678 and walls at 7700 / 7550. GammaFlowSPY called 760 the line and 770 the wall.
Three clocks. The morning maps are live 0DTE / overnight books. The OHLC is the session. TradingFlow GEX is prior-close structure (T+1). See Greeks and GEX.
Readers with access can start from SPY Gamma Exposure and SPXW, 0DTE horizon. Sign-in and a paid Rank entitlement may be required.
What the session actually did
SPX on September 2 (Rank daily bar):
- Open 7,634.60
- Low 7,633.60
- High 7,681.20
- Close 7,669.70
SPY:
- Open 762.50
- Low 761.70
- High 766.40
- Close 765.30
The bounce started above 7600, tagged the 7680s, and did not hold 7700. That is the corridor the posters named. The rest of this note is which of those strikes TradingFlow's T+1 map still had on the board.
SPY: 765 was the put wall, and close was 765.30
Test app, session date 2026-09-02. All-expiration GEX. Call wall $766. Put wall / magnet $765. Modeled flip $766.58. Daily bar closes 765.30. GEX levels are that session's prior-close structure (T+1), not a live 0DTE recompute. Captured September 3, 2026.
On this snapshot:
- Environment: Near flip
- Net GEX: −$2.0B (gross $49.1B)
- Call wall: $766.00
- Put wall: $765.00 (also the magnet)
- Flip: $766.58
- Horizon mix: 0DTE 15.0%, weekly 22.7%, monthly 34.5%
- Overview max pain vs spot: $760
Andrew's "765 MVC held" survives this clock. Spot closed thirty cents above the put wall. GammaFlowSPY's overnight −$7.23B / flip 768.23 / 770 wall is a different book: prior-close live GEX, not this all-expiration T+1 snapshot. Both can be true. They are not the same object.
_SirPeter posted call wall 7800, G-flip 7600, put wall 7500, 0DTE resistance 7675. The wide all-expiry walls are SpotGamma-style. TradingFlow's SPY map on this session is the tight $765–$766 pair.
SPXW 0DTE: close sat on 7670
Cash SPX 0DTE lives on SPXW. Switching the explorer to Today · 0DTE on the same session:
Same session, SPXW, horizon Today · 0DTE. Environment Positive. Call wall / magnet / 0DTE top $7,670. Put wall $7,665. Flip $7,649.39. Session high 7,681.20, close 7,669.70. Structure built 5:41 PM EDT. Captured in the test app on September 3, 2026.
On this snapshot:
- Environment: Positive (net GEX +$6.1B)
- Call wall / 0DTE top: $7,670
- Put wall: $7,665
- Flip: $7,649.39
- 0DTE share of all-expiration gross GEX: 17.0%
realjc's 7680 hurdle is the high (7,681.20). The T+1 0DTE top is 7670, and the close (7,669.70) sat on it. GammaGirl's morning 7678 flip / 7700–7550 walls are a live 0DTE map from before the open. TradingFlow does not recompute that book intraday. Labeling the clock is the whole point of this recap.
lonelyRaph had upside 7675/7690 then 7700, charm 7650, and a $29.60 0DTE straddle, data from VolSignals. His evening recap said the long cluster at the top of the profile rejected the rally. The high at 7681 and the close on 7670 is that rejection, on a listed clock.
Bzila called 7600 the overnight core. SPX never printed it. Low 7,633.60.
Cash SPX all-expiration GEX on the same session is a coarser map: modeled flip $7,631.39, call wall $8,000, net GEX +$4B, close 7,669.70. Use SPXW 0DTE when the seed claim is a same-day wall.
Named prints: seeds, not yet the tape
@mars_labs posted four contracts the same afternoon. Those are the prints Historical Option Trades is for.
| Seed (mars, Sept 2) | Claimed vol vs OI | Claimed premium |
|---|---|---|
| DELL 500C exp 9/4 | 36,919 vs 3,856 (9.6×) | ~$31.0M |
| PLTR 175C exp 9/4 | 28,999 vs 3,071 (9.4×) | ~$2.7M |
| PLTR 175C exp 9/11 | 9,054 vs 1,605 (5.6×) | ~$2.4M |
| NVDA 227.5C exp 9/11 | 25,651 vs 4,078 (6.3×) | ~$7.4M |
Joe Kunkle added CLMT Jan 75 calls, 1,000 lots at 2.95. realjc's OI-change board flagged a Friday 6800 SPX put as a deep-OTM lottery, with most new size in October downside protection.
Contract Rank for this session was still building in the test app when this recap was written, so those four lines stay seeds. The recipe is public:
- Historical Option Trades → symbol DELL (then PLTR, NVDA) → date 2026-09-02 → Full day.
- Filter expiry 2026-09-04, type Call, strike 500.
- Read size, premium, Vol/OI, and Side (Bid / Mid / Ask). Side is quote location, not account identity.
- Check next-day OI on the same contract if you need opening-like context.
Imran Lakha did not name a print. The useful filter from that post is still opening put sales where volume > open interest, sized against the name. That is an OI Time Machine check when someone actually names the contract.
One name, two structures
mars's PLTR 175 calls are a 2DTE / 9DTE call-buy story. Gamma Lab Girl wrote the opposite structure on the same name: limited upside, sell call spreads and buy puts. She later tagged SPY Sep 10 765 puts — the same 765 strike Andrew used as MVC.
Limitlesss1 bought SNOW calls into the print (revenue $1.55B vs $1.48B, EPS $0.62 vs $0.45). That is an earnings lottery, not a GEX wall. TradingFlow can timestamp the tape. It cannot timestamp the P&L screenshot.
What this session is evidence of
| Seed | TradingFlow on Sept 2 | Clock |
|---|---|---|
| SPY 765 MVC holds (Andrew) | Put wall $765, close $765.30 | T+1 all-expiry GEX + session OHLC |
7600 is the line (GammaFlowSPY, Bzila, _SirPeter) | SPX low 7,633.60; SPY low 761.70 | Session OHLC |
| 7680 hurdle (realjc) | SPX high 7,681.20 | Session OHLC |
| 7675 / 7678 / 7700 live 0DTE walls | SPXW 0DTE T+1 call wall 7,670, close 7,669.70 | Not the same book as a morning live map |
| Negative-gamma bounce | SPY all-expiry near flip, −$2B; SPXW 0DTE positive, +$6.1B | T+1 snapshot, not signed MM inventory |
| DELL / PLTR / NVDA named calls | Recipe only; Contract Rank was still loading | Tape not filled in this recap |
Positive versus negative GEX here is modeled structure, not observed dealer inventory. See Unusual options activity is not a signal until the tape checks out.
Reproduce the findings
- Open Rank Symbols → trading date Sep 2, 2026 → symbol SPY → Gamma Exposure. Record environment, walls, flip, net GEX, and the daily OHLC on the chart.
- Change symbol to SPXW. Set horizon to Today · 0DTE. Record the 0DTE top, put wall, and flip. Confirm the structure timestamp (this run: 5:41 PM EDT).
- Open Historical Option Trades. Date 2026-09-02. Replay DELL 500C 9/4, then the two PLTR 175 calls, then NVDA 227.5C 9/11. Write size, premium, Vol/OI, Side.
- Stop before "therefore buy/sell."
